In Genesis, the world was made;

Worship ME only. I am King of kings and Lord of lords, dwelling in unapproachable Light. I am taking care of you! I am not only committed to caring for you, but I am also absolutely capable of doing so. Rest in ME, my weary one, for this is a form of worship. Though self-flagellation has gone out o style, many of My children drive themselves like racehorses. They whip themselves into action, ignoring how exhausted they are. They forget that I am sovereign and that My ways are higher than theirs. Underneath their driven service, they may secretly resent ME as a harsh taskmaster. Their worship of ME is lukewarm, because I am no longer their First Love. My invitation never changes: Come to ME, all who are weary, and I will give you rest. Worship ME by resting peacefully in My Presence. Which God will bring about in his own time- God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To Him be honor an might forever. Amen. 1 Timothy 6:15-16 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways," declares the LORD. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:8-9 " Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love." Revelation 2:4 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28 -Jesus Calling, Sarah Young
"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." John 15:5 Finally, be strong in The Lord and in His mighty power. Ephesians 6:10 Then God said, " Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." So God created man in His own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created he them. Genesis 1:26-27 -Sarah Young, Jesus Calling Wait with ME for a while. I have much to tell you. You are walking along the path I have chosen for you. It is both a privileged and a perilous way: experiencing My glorious Presence and heralding that reality to others. Sometimes you feel presumptuous to be carrying out such an assignment. Do not worry about what other people think of you. The work I am doing in you is hidden at first. But eventually blossoms will burst forth, and abundant fruit will be borne. Stay on the path of Life with Me. Trust Me wholeheartedly, letting My Spirit fill you with Joy and Peace. O Lord, God of Israel, there is no God like you in heaven above or on earth below--you who keep your covenant of love with your servants who continue wholeheartedly in your way. 1 Kings 8:23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23 -Sarah Young, Jesus Calling Most of the battles of life are won
By looking beyond the clouds to the sun And having the patience to wait for the day When the sun comes out and the clouds float away. -Helen Steiner Rice Somebody cares and always will- Yesterday's dead, tomorrow's unborn,
So there's nothing to fear and nothing to mourn, For all that is past and all that has been Can never return to be lived once again. And what lies ahead, or the things that will be, Are still in God's hands, so it is not up to me To live in the future that is God's great unknown, For the past and the present God claims for His own. So all I need do is to live for today And trust God to show me the truth and the way, For it's only the memory of things that have been And expecting tomorrow to bring trouble again That fills my today, which God wants to bless, With uncertain fears and borrowed distress. For all I need live for is this one little minute, For life's here and now and eternity's in it. -Helen Steiner Rice Let all our employment be to know God; the more one knows Him, the more one desires to know Him. And as knowledge is commonly the measure of love, the deeper and more extensive our knowledge shall be, the greater will be our love; and if our love of God were great, we should love Him equally in pains and pleasures. Let us not amuse ourselves to seek or to love God for any sensible favors (how elevated soever) which He has or may do us. Such favors, though never so great, cannot bring us so near to God as faith does in one simple act. Let us seek Him often by faith: He is within us; seek Him not elsewhere. Are we not rude and deserve blame, if we leave Him alone, to busy ourselves about trifles which do not please Him and perhaps offend Him? It is to be feared these trifles will one day cost us dear. Let us begin to be devoted to Him in good earnest. Let us cast everything besides out of our hearts; He would possess them alone..." -Brother Lawrence (1614-1691)
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. James 4:8 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God. Hebrews 7:19 And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest: (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:) By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament. And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death: But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore. Hebrews7:20-28 After the winter comes the spring
To show us again that in everything There's always a renewal divinely planned. Flawlessly perfect, the work of God's hand. And just like the seasons that come and go When the flowers of spring lay buried in snow, God sends to the heart in its winter of sadness A springtime awakening of new hope and gladness. -Helen Steiner Rice Love is like magic and it always will be,
For love still remains life's sweet mystery. Love works in ways that are wondrous and strange, And there's nothing in life that love cannot change. Love can transform the most commonplace Into beauty and splendor and sweetness and grace. Love is unselfish, understanding, and kind, For it sees with its heart and not with its mind. Love gives and forgives; there is nothing too much For love to heal with its magic touch. Love is the language that every heart speaks, For love is the one thing that every heart seeks. And where there is love God, too, will abide And bless the family residing inside. -Helen Steiner Rice |
